Jonas Edvard (1982) is a danish designer working in the field of material science and applied design experiments. He investigates the raw material, its history, cultural appropriation and direct knowledgements in crafts with the aim of locating the functional value in natural resources with an endless potential. The landscape around where he grew up shaped his intuitive design approach. He investigates solutions in sustainability by manufacturing ideas, materials and objects that correspond to the emotional value of our natural being, the senses beyond our understanding and our connectedness to the world.
